Ta Fong Pharmaceutical has recently been featured in an interview with PharmaBoardroom, an international media platform covering the global pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
In the interview, Chairman Sen Kuei Yeh shared Ta Fong Pharmaceutical’s development journey, manufacturing capabilities, and perspectives on the future of Taiwan’s pharmaceutical industry.
Founded in 1952, Ta Fong Pharmaceutical has steadily expanded from the OTC market into generics and diversified pharmaceutical products. Today, the company offers nearly 200 products across multiple dosage forms and continues to strengthen its presence in Taiwan’s healthcare market.
The interview also highlighted one of Ta Fong’s distinctive manufacturing strengths — Taiwan’s only dedicated production line for female hormone injectable preparations — reflecting the company’s commitment to specialized pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance.
In addition, Mr Yeh discussed Ta Fong’s ongoing efforts in PIC/S GMP quality systems, international partnerships, and CDMO/OEM/ODM collaborations, as well as the company’s long-term focus on products addressing the needs of an ageing society.
